ABOUT US
An ordained Minister of Religion, my focus is on supporting you during
significant life events, and I’ve been honoured to serve hundreds of
families with their weddings, baptisms and funerals since 2001.
My licensure is through the Clergy Support Memorial Church via
All Seasons Church of Canada, one of the largest of the “small”
churches in Canada which draws from the style
of the United Church of Canada.
We are part of the emerging church movement
whose emphasis is on pastoral care and
outreach, rather than denominational dogma.
Working in civil intelligence for the first 25 years of my professional
life, I accepted a call to the helping professions in 2000 and
re-trained in grief management and counselling.
My focus is on Chaplaincy rather than selective denominationalism,
and I follow the same rules as military Chaplains in that I
do not proselytize (“collect souls”) but am instead
a presence of support in times of need to all.
On-call to a number of funeral homes in the community to assist
families in times of bereavement, I also offer family and grief
counselling in private practice four days a week at one of
the largest psychotherapy clinics in York region.
My focus is on grief management, individual and family
counselling, and helping people take back control
of their lives by helping them reshape how
they react to life’s issues.
Please feel free to call anytime.
